The main character is really entertaining to read about - just like the blurb says, he's "humorous, naïve and bumbling" - a perfect combination. The scene with the seagull trapped in the car almost brought tears to my eyes from laughing! Not to mention later on when he loses his pants! It's written in that typical dry British humor that we all know and enjoy. The story follows Marcus from about the age of 11 at his first (failed) rugby match, through his marriage to his high school sweetheart, through his job as a lawyer - all the while fumbling and getting himself into ridiculous situations along the way. He reminded me a little of a Charlie Chaplin or Three Stooges characters with all of his crazy plights. The story finally ends with one final action packed scene, filled with gun shots, escapes, high speed chases and even an explosion. It's good stuff!Product details

A really funny read! Couldn't put this book down,you feel like Marcus is your best friend and you just want to scream "Don't do it!" The story takes you on a rollercoaster ride and leaves you wanting more.
